Moss Beach...

Home of the Fitzgerald Marine Preserve

Moss Beach is on both sides of Highway 1, between the Half Moon Bay Airport to the south and Montara to the north.  Moss Beach is home to the area's most well-equipped medical facility, Seton Medical Center Coastside.  It also boasts some of the coast's most breathtaking views.  Sunshine Valley Road is a beautiful county road that connects the town to Montara.

The Fitzgerald Marine Reserve is one of the best places in California to walk on the rocks at minus tide and explore the evolution of marine life. Overlooking the ocean is the famous Moss Beach Distillery Restaurant, with a history of rum runners, speakeasies, and "Blue Lady", the famous ghost featured on NBC's "Unsolved Mysteries." Cypress trees abound with mountain and white water views. Popular activities include mountain biking, hiking, horseback riding, surfing, fishing, beachcombing and boating. Many who buy Moss Beach homes commute to Silicon valley or San Francisco, and an increasing number are developing home businesses or "commute" via the internet.

Many Moss Beach properties feature mountain and ocean views, and include single family homes, oceanfront homes, horse properties and ranches. Call Millie Golder at 650-726-1900 for more information!
